We propose to initiate and support studies of the changes in insect population numbers, types and activities in selected parts of the world and to monitor annual fluctuations.
The areas we have provisionally selected are:
Cool areas: Canada, Southern Chile, Scotland, Northern Romania.
Warm areas: Northern Chile, Southern Europe, North Island New Zealand.
